The Associate Dean for Graduate Education reviews all new course proposals, curriculum changes, and proposals for new programs. Proposals for major curriculum changes and new programs are then routed to the College Committee on Graduate Education for review. When approved by the College, these proposals and requests are forwarded to the University Graduate School for review and, as appropriate, to the Campus Curriculum Committee and higher levels of review.
The Course Approval and Remonstrance (CARMin) system is used to submit new graduate course and graduate course change requests. The electronic system is accessible through One.IU. If you have questions about using CARMin, please contact collgrad@indiana.edu.
